Meetings

All of our meetings are open to the public, and provide a time when parents, friends, individuals with autism, teachers and professionals can meet to make new friends, support each other, or benefit from a presentation by a guest speaker. Speakers include members of the medical, educational, therapeutic, recreational, and legal communities. 

Our meetings are informal and are a great chance to meet, chat, exchange information, and compare notes with other parents or family members just like you. Come and share with us; meetings are open to all. You do not have to be an individual with autism or a parent to attend a meeting.  We welcome and appreciate everyone interested in learning more about autism.

Lending Library

We maintain a lending library of books, phamplets, and videos on issues realted to autism and developmental disorders. Individuals can check out these materials from our Information and Referral coordinator, Cindy Favret. Cindy can be reached at cindy@peninsulaautism.org or 757.565.6367.
