   We maintain a lending library of books, pamphlets, and videos on issues related to autism and related disorders. Individuals can check out these materials from our Information and Referral coordinator Cindy Favret

Library News

The Peninsula Autism Society is now in the process of purchasing some much needed new materials for our chapter library, thanks to a large donation by a generous donor.  We will put together a basic selection of the “Best Of” books, DVD’s, Videos and other materials that will be available at ALL chapter meetings, in addition to an extensive list of our entire collection of materials to borrow.  Books can be borrowed for one month and have to be returned before additional books can be taken out.

In addition to the “Best Of” selection available at meetings we will also have a selection of more comprehensive materials to borrow from our librarians home.  These materials can be mailed out, picked up or sent to chapter meetings on request.  Please call ahead.

We always welcome the donation of gently used books.  Is there a book you have read, but no longer need?  Please give other parents an opportunity to learn.  It’s all about sharing and supporting each other.  Thanks!
